Job summary

Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board is seeking a Senior Nurse for Urgent Primary Care (111/GP Out of Hours) based at Ty Elai, Williamstown. The role leads clinical governance, service improvement, and workforce development across CTM OOHS services.

You will supervise a multidisciplinary team, drive quality assurance, and manage resources to meet national standards. The post is fixed term/secondment for 12 months, with Welsh Desirable language skills noted.

Qualifications

• Senior nursing leadership experience
• Master's level or equivalent training
• Knowledge of clinical governance and quality improvement processes

Responsibilities

• Be part of the Urgent Primary Care clinical leadership team in developing and delivering high quality patient care
• Support the unscheduled care strategy across CTM
• Develop clinical practitioners for OOHS and provide mentoring and audits
• Undertake face-to-face and telephone consultations as part of core duties
