Job Title: Clinical Nurse Educator - Cardiology

The Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) for Cardiology will join the existing CNE team to provide education and training to all nursing staff within the Cardiology department. You will cover areas including ACU, Papplewick ward, Patience 1, and the Cardiac catheter laboratory, ensuring high-quality educational provision.

1. Deliver regular mandatory training and in-house specialised training programmes.
2. Act as a proactive role model, leading in the clinical environment on clinical education and competence assessment in the ward/department.
3. Support and deputise for the ward manager, taking managerial, clinical, and professional responsibility for a team of nurses.
4. Support staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care in a safe and efficient manner, in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
