KIMS Hospital in Maidstone is seeking a Care Support Worker to join the Cardiology Team, supporting Physiologists with diagnostic tests such as ECG monitoring and 24hr monitoring in inpatient and outpatient settings.

The role emphasizes patient focus with opportunities to progress in a fast-paced cardiology department; required Care Certificate and NVQ in Health and Social Care, plus ECG/Phlebotomy experience.

Qualifications

• Care Certificate or equivalent mandatory qualification.
• NVQ 2/3 in Health and Social Care required.
• Experience in care settings, preferably acute healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day running of clinics and support Physiologists.
• Monitor patients' condition prior to appointments (temperature, pulse, respirations, weight).
• Chaperone patients in clinics and ensure safety.
