Job summary

Lc Legal in Cardiff is seeking a Private Client Senior Associate to join a leading national private client team. You will manage a varied caseload across wills, trusts, estate administration, probate, tax and succession planning, while developing client relationships and contributing to business growth.

The role emphasizes mentoring junior colleagues, collaborating with partners, and raising the Cardiff profile through high-quality work and client service.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor or CILEX lawyer with 5+ years’ PQE.
• Strong technical background in private client work and ability to manage complex matters independently.
• Experience mentoring and supervising junior team members.
• Strong client relationship and business development skills with a commercially minded approach.
• Existing Cardiff market network would be advantageous.
• STEP qualification or progression towards it would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied and complex private client caseload including wills, trusts, probate and succession planning.
• Provide tailored advice to high-net-worth individuals on wealth and succession planning.
• Build and strengthen client relationships and contribute to business development in Cardiff.
• Mentor junior colleagues and support growth of the team.
• Raise the profile of the practice across the Cardiff market.
