Job summary

South Tyneside and Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a dedicated professional to lead the exercise component of the Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation service. You will support the assessment and suitability of clients to participate alongside the Nursing team and contribute to patient education on activity and exercise.

You will help ensure the safe exercising of clients in hospital and community venues, and contribute to education around healthy lifestyle and disease-specific

Responsibilities

• Leading on exercise component of Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation service
• Supporting the assessment and suitability of clients to participate alongside the Nursing team
• Contributing to the education of patients around activity and exercise
• Ensuring the safe exercising of clients in hospital and community venues
• Contributing to the education of clients around healthy lifestyle and disease specific lifestyle changes
