Job summary

Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a newly graduated cardiac physiologist to join a multidisciplinary team providing a broad range of invasive and non-invasive cardiac investigations. The role spans echocardiography, pacemakers and respiratory diagnostics, with opportunities to tailor duties with the manager to service needs.

You will undertake ambulatory monitoring, analyse recordings, and produce reports with supervision.

Qualifications

• Newly graduated cardiac physiologist is sought.
• Role can be tailored with manager to interests and service needs.
• Experience within multidisciplinary cardiac/respiratory settings is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Undertake ambulatory monitoring including ECG, BP and event recorders with proper device application.
• Download, analyse recordings and generate comprehensive reports with minimal supervision.
• Perform full lung function testing, reversibility studies, overnight oximetry and report results.
• Maintain, calibrate and care for respiratory equipment.
