The Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust requires a clinically excellent Cardiac Physiologist to join one of the largest NHS teaching trusts in the country. The Trust comprises four hospitals, three in Oxford and one in Banbury, with the Cardiac Physiology department working across all sites and community hubs.
We are seeking a motivated Band Cardiac Physiologist to join our supportive, dynamic, and friendly team. Candidates should demonstrate postgraduate-level experience through a continuous development portfolio, with evidence of leadership, mentorship, and specialist working within Cardiac Physiology being advantageous.
The successful candidate will join a large team of experienced Cardiac Physiologists, Arrhythmia, and Complex Device Nurse Practitioners. The department encourages involvement with professional bodies and has regular representation at council level with BSE, BHRS, and BCIS.
We are a practical assessment centre for BSE and participate in the STP OSFA assessments for the National School of Healthcare Science. Professional development at all levels is encouraged. We are also a National School of Healthcare Science accredited training centre.
Professional registration is preferred, such as RCCP or AHCS. We welcome informal visits or telephone discussions to explore the post and your career aspirations. Flexible working patterns will be considered.
