Job Title: Locum Invasive Cardiac Physiologist
Banding: Band 7
Location: Gloucester
Working Hours: Full-time
Start Date: ASAP
Rate: £40 – £50 per hour
Duration: 4 months

The Clinical Physiology team at Pulse is seeking a dedicated and skilled Invasive Cardiac Physiologist to join our team in Gloucester. This is a full-time position starting ASAP, with a competitive hourly rate of £40 – £50. The role is initially for a duration of 4 months, with the potential for extension based on performance and departmental needs.

What will your responsibilities be?

You will conduct invasive cardiac diagnostic tests, including ECGs, Holter monitoring, and stress tests. You will analyse test results and provide accurate reports to support patient diagnosis and treatment. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care. You will maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements in cardiac physiology and related technologies.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Essential:
    • IBHRE / BHRS accreditation (desirable).
    • Relevant qualifications and registration as a Cardiac Physiologist.
    • Proven experience as a Cardiac Physiologist with a focus on pacing and devices.
    • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
    • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
    • Experience in non-invasive cardiac diagnostics.
