County Durham & Darlington NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a registered nurse with cardiology experience to support day-case cardiac procedures. The role involves pre-assessment, procedural and post-procedural care for pacemaker insertions, angiograms, TOE and related investigations, with training and development provided.

Qualifications

• UK RGN with NMC registration or equivalent
• DBS clearance is required
• Demonstrates excellent communication and patient care skills
• Experience with EPR systems and basic IT skills
• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD)

Responsabilités

• Provide pre- and post-procedure nursing care for cardiology day cases
• Assist with Cardiology diagnostic procedures including TOE, dobutamine stress echo, loop recorder implant and explant, PPM insertion and angiography
• Ensure delivery of safe, evidence-based nursing care and adherence to policies
• Participate in teaching, training and service development with the Cardiac team
• Contribute to budget/resource awareness within the unit
