Job summary

Barts Health NHS Trust’s Ward 3C, a cardiac day case unit, is recruiting a Staff Nurse. The role supports elective and interventional cardiology procedures and collaborates with the Catheter Laboratory.

Ward hours run from 7:30am to 8pm, Monday to Friday, with in-house and university training and senior nursing support. Applicants should be a Registered General Nurse with NMC registration; cardiology ward experience is desirable.

Job description

This Staff Nurse post sits on Ward 3C, a cardiac day case unit at Barts Heart Centre, run by Barts Health NHS Trust. The ward cares for patients having elective, interventional and electrophysiology procedures, and works closely with the Catheter Laboratory on work from device implants to ASD closures. Ward hours run from 7:30am to 8pm, Monday to Friday, and the post offers in-house and university training with senior nursing support. Fit rests on NMC registration, with cardiology ward experience desirable.
