Parker Meggitt is seeking a Furnace Operative for Coventry to manufacture carbon brake discs and operate high-temperature furnaces. The role involves loading/unloading equipment, following strict process controls, and recording data in SAP.

You will work on a 3 days on, 3 days off rota with day and night shifts, in a permanent position. The candidate will contribute to carbon fibre processes, maintain documentation, and support overall production to meet customer standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, production or engineering environments.
• Strong attention to detail with ability to maintain records and documentation.
• Good communication and ability to work in a team-based environment.

Responsabilités

• Manufacture carbon brake discs across production stages from carbon fibre cloth prep to heat-treated products.
• Operate and monitor high-temperature furnaces using DeltaV SCADA; ensure safe, efficient conditions.
• Load and unload furnaces, carousels, jigs and infiltration stacks per production needs.
• Support carbon cloth manufacturing activities, including operating production equipment.
• Assemble/disassemble jigs, infiltration stacks and tooling; maintain product IDs.
• Weigh components and record production data in SAP; complete required documentation.
• Build carbon components and support additional production activities to meet operational and customer requirements.
