MGES is seeking a Carbon & Climate Consultant to join our expanding environmental solutions team. You will work with engineers, project managers, and delivery teams to drive reductions in whole-life carbon across all project stages.

Responsibilities include calculating robust footprints, presenting results, running workshops, and providing technical advice across Transport, Water, Energy & Telecom sectors. Travel across the UK is expected.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience delivering carbon consultancy services within infrastructure sectors.
• Sound understanding of UK environmental legislation and guidance on carbon and climate (PAS 2080, ISO14064).
• Excellent data analysis skills with Excel and Power BI.
• Valid UK driving license and willingness to travel across the UK to client sites.

Responsabilités

• Drive reductions in whole-life carbon emissions across project stages.
• Calculate robust carbon footprints and present results clearly for varied audiences.
• Run workshops with value-chain members to develop strategies and opportunities.
• Provide technical advice on carbon- and climate-related subjects across Transport, Water, Energy & Telecom sectors.
• Support development of new service offerings and growth of the MGES consultancy.
• Collaborate with the Carbon Lead to maintain accreditations (PAS 2080, ISO14064) and improve carbon management processes.
• Develop and deliver carbon training and communications, and engage supply chain for data provision.
• Produce fee proposals and manage delivery within budgets and programmes.
