Job summary

Beckenham Car Workshop in London is seeking a professional Car Valetor to join the team. The role offers an attractive hourly rate (£13.50–£15) based on experience, with a full-time permanent position and PAYE options.

Working hours are 8am–5pm, Monday to Friday, with a one-hour lunch break, and there is flexibility to discuss self-employment arrangements. The ideal candidate will wash, valet and detail vehicles to a high standard, ensure vehicles are ready for collection, maintain workshop

Qualifications

• Valid driving licence with up to six penalty points.
• Experience as Car Valetor/Car Cleaner preferred but not essential.
• Able to undertake outdoor work and handle physically demanding tasks.
• Reliable, punctual, with a keen eye for detail.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle presentation and cleaning standards.

Responsibilities

• Wash, valet and detail vehicles to a high standard.
• Ensure vehicles are clean, presentable and ready for customer collection.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workshop area supporting Car Valetor duties.
• Assist with light maintenance tasks to support presentation standards.

• Assist with light vehicle maintenance tasks as needed, supporting the overall presentation standards of a Car Valetor

Requirements:

• Valid driving licence with a maximum of six penalty points
• Previous experience as a Car Valetor, Car Cleaner, or in a similar role preferred but not essential
• Ability to undertake outdoor work and handle physically demanding tasks
• Reliable, punctual, with a keen eye for detail
• Basic knowledge of vehicle presentation and cleaning standards
