Job summary

Motorclean Ltd in Scarborough is seeking a self-employed car valeter to join a busy dealership team. You will perform exterior and interior valeting to a high standard, pre-soak, wash, dry and polish, and apply coatings when required, using the PPE and products supplied.

Hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm, with weekly pay and ongoing, consistent work. Full workwear and PPE are provided, alongside all valeting products and equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience as a professional valeter.
• Reliable, consistent and ready to work.
• Pays attention to detail and takes pride in their work.
• Team player who communicates well under pressure.
• Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on work.

Responsibilities

• Ensure vehicles are cleaned to a high standard.
• Pre-soak, wash, dry and polish/wax exterior.
• Clean and vacuum interior including seats, windows, carpets, mats and dashboards.
• Dress tyres.
• Apply protective/ ceramic coatings to exterior and interior when required.
• Check vehicles for damage and report to Management.
• Maintain valeting tools.
• Handle chemicals according to Health and safety procedures.
• Keep valet areas clean and tidy at all times.
• Move vehicles safely on company grounds.
• Prioritise workload and communicate to relevant department.

Pay: £12.71 per hour

Hours available: Monday to Friday 8.30am-5pm
