Overview

Role title: Car Mechanic (Level 3)

Salary: £36,786.89

Hours: Monday to Friday 8am-5pm

Responsibilities
  • Carry out general mechanical repairs and servicing of vehicles.
  • Undertake general tyre changing duties for a variety of vehicles.
  • Complete air conditioning services as and when required.
  • Undertake road and ramp testing and inspection as and when required.
  • Carry out all repairs in line with approved methods to restore the vehicle to its original condition.
  • Ascertain job requirements from the job card/estimate and record all time taken against the repair.
  • Ensure that all documentation is accurately completed and that all Company procedures are followed.
  • Conduct advanced vehicle diagnostic sessions with full operational understanding of manufacturer diagnostic equipment and techniques.
  • Diagnose problems on vehicles in the workshop and, if needed, undertake electrical diagnosis on vehicles as required.
  • Perform warranty repairs and provide suitable paperwork to aid the claims process in line with manufacturer standards.
  • Ability to carry out full in depth technician and QCR reports.
