Job summary

BMS Engineering Recruitment is seeking an experienced Infection Prevention & Medical Equipment sales professional to cover the South West and Wales region, including Newport. You will sell specialist capital equipment into NHS and private hospitals, driving new business and tender wins with a hunter mindset.

This field-based role offers £50-55K basic plus £20K uncapped OTE and a company car or £650/month allowance, with private healthcare, pension and 25 days holiday.

Qualifications

• Experience selling medical device capital equipment.
• Proven NHS sales track record.
• Strong new business and tender experience.
• Knowledge of NHS procurement, frameworks and tender processes.
• Driving licence (UK).

Responsibilities

• Drive strategic new business growth across the territory.
• Sell specialist capital equipment, consumables and accessories into NHS and private hospitals.
• Work with Endoscopy Units, Infection Prevention Teams, EBME and Procurement.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to tenders and implementation.
• Convert competitor accounts and win new business opportunities.
• Build long-term relationships with clinical and commercial stakeholders.
• Take ownership of your territory while working closely with a collaborative wider team.

Who You Are

• Experienced medical device or capital equipment salesperson
• Proven track record of selling into the NHS

• Commercially driven with a resilient, hunter mentality
• Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
• Full UK driving licence
