Job summary

ISS Facility Services UK is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our Capital Projects team for a government client. Based in Weybridge/London corridor, you will deliver cost management across NEC4 contracts and ensure financial control throughout project lifecycles.

You will prepare budgets, monitor performance, administer contracts, manage variations, and provide commercial guidance while liaising with clients and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Qualified Quantity Surveyor with a Degree or HND in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent).
• Experience in construction/FM, government, corporate or education sectors preferred.
• Strong NEC4 contract administration knowledge.
• Experience in cost management, tendering, and procurement.
• Experience with payments, valuations, variations and risk management.
• Ability to price contractual changes with strong financial acumen.
• Experience managing multiple projects with combined annual value >= £5m.
• Experience preparing tender evaluation documentation for customers.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel) and BI tools; Coupa and Monday.com experience.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost plans.
• Monitor and report financial performance against targets.
• Administer NEC4 contracts and ensure contractual compliance.
• Identify and manage contract risks with mitigation strategies.
• Prepare tender documents and evaluate submissions.
• Review and certify payment applications and valuations.
• Assess variations and compensation events with proper records.
• Provide commercial guidance and support governance across delivery.
