Warwickshire County Council is seeking a senior leader to drive a capital programme over £50 million, focused on education schemes. You will lead four Construction Project Managers and oversee consultants, contractors and partners to deliver projects on time, within budget and to high quality standards.

Qualifications

• Construction-related degree or equivalent experience.
• Extensive experience delivering major construction and capital projects.
• Experience delivering education sector projects.
• At least five years managing and developing people and teams.
• Experience managing client-side project managers, consultants and contractors.
• Proven track record leading large-scale capital projects in complex environments.

Responsabilités

• Lead delivery of a capital programme over £50 million, mainly education projects.
• Direct and develop a team of four Construction Project Managers.
• Ensure projects are on time, within budget and to quality standards.
• Manage consultants, contractors and delivery partners.
• Oversee governance, risk, procurement and construction compliance.
• Oversee projects from inception through to completion.
• Build relationships with clients and stakeholders across the organisation.
• Drive project excellence and service innovation.
• Report to the Development and Capital Projects Manager.
• Take responsibility for significant project budgets.
