The University of Oxford is seeking to appoint a Capital Projects Development Manager to lead a portfolio of estate improvement projects up to £15m.

Oxford boasts an impressive estates capital programme with an annual budget of approximately £160 million, and a total programme value reaching up to £1.0 billion. This role involves leading a across multiple faculties, with specific responsibility for managing a diverse range of minor to mid-sized capital projects, valued between £100,000 and £15 million. The cross-Divisional portfolio is extensive and varied with in excess of 250 projects with a targeted annual expenditure in excess of £30m.
The successful candidate will possess proven experience of leading the development and delivery of a complex portfolio of estate improvement schemes across comporbale estate portlfios. Delivery-focused and with a high degree of commercial acumen, you will be able to demonstrate a proven track record in ensuring quality, value for money across a diverse range of minor to mid-sized capital projects.
As a Development Manager in a client-side role, you will be adept working successfully with delivery partners, fostering a positive, collaborative and high-performance culture. The role calls for an individual that is adept at stakeholder management, given the vast array of internal and external stakeholders involved in the delivery of projects across the Oxford estate.
