Job summary

Veolia in Dunfermline is seeking an experienced Capital Projects Lead to plan and deliver a portfolio of infrastructure projects. You will ensure safety, on-time delivery, and value for money while managing a small team of Project Engineers across multiple sites.

You will develop the capital programme, price scopes, and mobilise new work, reporting progress to senior stakeholders and maintaining strict governance and compliance with health, safety, and CDM regulations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing multiple capital or engineering projects end to end.
• Strong PM skills including planning, budgeting, risk, reporting and governance.
• Experience leading and developing a small project delivery team.
• Solid knowledge of health, safety and CDM regulations.
• Excellent stakeholder management with clients, operations and suppliers.
• Commercial experience in scoping, pricing, and contracts; UK security clearance a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and delivery of capital projects on time, within budget and to quality standards.
• Develop and price scopes, proposals and mobilise new work.
• Manage and develop a small team of Project Engineers across multiple sites.
• Control budgets, risks, schedules, contractors and records with governance.
• Ensure HSE and CDM requirements throughout the lifecycle.
• Build relationships with clients and stakeholders; report progress and finances; develop business cases.
