Job summary

Capgemini in Glasgow seeks an experienced Scrum Master to lead capital markets transformation initiatives. You will facilitate Agile ceremonies, promote Scrum adoption, and remove impediments to ensure on‑time delivery across complex trading/regulatory projects.

You will collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to keep a well‑refined backlog, track velocity and burndown metrics, and drive continuous improvement while aligning technology with business goals in a fast‑paced financial

Qualifications

• A minimum of 9 years of IT experience, with at least 6 years in a Scrum Master role.
• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks including Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.
• Practical experience with project management tools like JIRA, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage risks, dependencies, and coordinate across teams.
• Possession of Scrum certifications such as CSM, PSM, or SAFe is preferred.
• Experience in banking and financial services is advantageous.
• Domain expertise in capital markets, including knowledge of Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives, and FX.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Act as a servant leader to promote Scrum adoption and enhance team effectiveness.
• Identify, manage, and eliminate impediments that affect project delivery.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to ensure the backlog is well-prepared.
• Track and report on Agile metrics such as velocity, burndown, and sprint progress.
• Encourage continuous improvement and ensure compliance with governance standards.
