Job Title: Capital Markets Researcher (Associate) Commercial Division
Reporting to Head of Capital Markets Research
Responsibilities
- Providing capital markets, economics, and occupier insight, commentary, thought leadership, and flash updates for internal and external capital markets stakeholders
- Direct client engagement, presenting capital markets analysis and commentary internally and externally
- Line managing one Capital Markets Analyst
- Responding to time-sensitive internal and external bespoke requests
- Prioritizing across multiple departments and stakeholders
- Managing the content for the capital markets portal of the Knight Frank Intelligence Lab as well as oversight of the internal Capital Markets Sharepoint page
- Spokesperson for UK Capital Markets research
Professional experience and personal skills profile
- Degree qualified, with an aptitude for quantitative techniques, an analytical approach to completing assignments, and strong attention to detail
- An interest in drawing conclusions from the analysis of data and an ability to articulate these in an accessible way
- A team player who is approachable, enthusiastic, innovative, and self-motivated, with a passion for excellence and strong commerciality
- Creating compelling narratives through verbal, visual, written, and data means to communicate messages appropriately to different audiences
- Management and coaching skills
- Curious, innovative, and adaptable, with a passion for lifelong learning and an ability to work with both traditional and ‘new’ style individuals and firms
- Skilled at drawing key themes from data to construct an argument in a clear and logical way, including considering the UK in a global context
- Able to present and otherwise communicate information in an engaging manner to audiences ranging from individuals in the capital markets business to small client groups and larger gatherings
- Ability to synthesize data and themes into succinct and relevant messages
