Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated, diligent and commercially astute Capital Markets Analyst to join our client's London-based team.Focusing on the UK logistics real estate sector. This position offers a unique opportunity to play a key role in underwriting development opportunities and managing investor relations, while supporting capital raising initiatives and the execution of transactions across the UK. The successful candidate will possess strong analyticand financial modelling capabilities and have a good understanding of the UK logistics market and its relationship with macro-economics. The candidate will also have the ability to engage confidently with a wide range of investor types. You will thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, team-oriented environment, demonstrating professionalism, adaptability, accuracy, and a solutions-driven mindset.
Key Responsibilities

  • Underwriting & Financial Analysis - Lead comprehensive financial analysis for UK logistics development transactions, including discounted cash flow (DCF), internal rate of return (IRR), and scenario modelling using Excel and Argus Developer. - Conduct detailed risk/reward assessments and apply market insights to support investment strategies. - Prepare high-quality investment committee presentations and approval documentation with precision and clarity.
  • Investor Relations & Capital Raising Support - Develop and maintain high quality marketing materials including pitch decks, investment memorandums and market analysis to effectively support business development and capital raising initiatives with accuracy and impact. - Support all aspects of investor communications and due diligence processes. - Assist senior team members with client presentations, roadshows, and ongoing relationship management initiatives. - Assist the team with market data collation, management and analysis, to help define and support the thesis for investing in the development of logistics property in the UK and Europe. - Maintain investor reaction schedules for UK development projects under capitalisation, and ensure investor outreach and relationship management schedules are maintained and updated on a regular basis.
  • Transaction Execution & Stakeholder Management - Work cross-functionally with internal teams - including capital markets, development management teams, finance, and legal - to facilitate seamless deal execution and time keeping. - Support the coordination and management of relationships with key external stakeholders such as brokers, lenders, legal advisors, and joint venture partners / investors. - MonitortheUK logistics development pipeline in collaboration with the UK development teams, and ensure deadlines are met and the Capital Markets team’s priorities are adjusted as required.
  • Market Intelligence & Analysis - Assist with regular research and analysis of the UK logistics and industrial real estate markets, identifying trends, risks, and investment opportunities. - Support internal reporting and contribute to internal strategy discussions through data-driven insights accounting for the evolving macro-economic and geo-political landscape in the UK and Europe.
Candidate Profile
Experience & Skills
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in UK real estate finance, investment banking, private equity, or capital markets.
- Demonstrated proficiency in real estate financial modelling, with advanced Excel skills and familiarity with Argus Developer.
- Hold advanced Word and PowerPoint skills.
- Solid understanding of the UK logistics and industrial real estate sector.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with internal and external stakeholders.
- Highly organised with a proven ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously under time pressure.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field. Professional qualifications (e.g. CFA, MRICS) are a plus but not required.
