Job summary

The Oyster Partnership Ltd on behalf of The CFO HQ is recruiting a Capital Finance Manager in London for a six-month contract. The role focuses on technical accounting, financial controls and capital funding, reporting to senior finance leadership, and providing essential capacity to strengthen controls.

You will handle balance sheet reconciliations, monitor capital funding streams, assist with asset accounting and year-end, and identify process improvements to deliver robust capital finance

Qualifications

• Qualified or part-qualified accountant (CCAB/CIMA or equivalent).
• Experience within local government or a large public sector organisation.
• Strong understanding of capital accounting and capital funding.
• Experience undertaking balance sheet reconciliations and financial control reviews.
• Knowledge of capital grants, developer contributions and cashflow monitoring.
• Analytical approach with strong attention to detail.
• Able to work independently and deliver improvements quickly.

Responsibilities

• Review and enhance balance sheet reconciliation processes.
