Job summary

The CFO HQ in Eastbourne is seeking a Senior Finance Manager to join our established finance team on a permanent basis. You will support the Financial Controller, delivering accurate financial reporting and driving improvements across the function.

You will lead monthly management accounts, forecasts, and multi‑currency consolidations, while providing strategic insight to senior leadership. A path toward Financial Controller lies within our succession plan.

Qualifications

• Experience producing management accounts in a manufacturing environment.
• 2–3 years experience managing multi‑company, multi‑currency consolidations.
• Good understanding of standard costing.
• Strong Excel skills with Pivot Tables and XLOOKUP.

Responsibilities

• Produce monthly management accounts to completion.
• Prepare quarterly forecasts and annual budgets.
• Manage multi-company, multi-currency consolidations.
• Prepare VAT returns, Corporation Tax and other filings.
• Produce financial reports for senior leadership and board meetings.
• Investigate variances and explain trends.
• Support annual audit and year-end files.
• Oversee cashbooks and ledgers; assist with payroll and pension administration.
• Lead and support finance improvement projects.
• Provide cover for Financial Controller when required.
