University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Head of Capital Finance to lead the Capital Accounting team within the Financial Accounts function. The postholder will set and deliver the financial strategy for capital projects across the Trust and run the monthly and year-end capital close.

The role is hybrid with office days at Regent Court and up to two days a week at home, requiring a CCAB-recognised qualification with capital and lease accounting experience.

Qualifications

• CCAB-recognised accountancy qualification, with evidence of continuing professional development
• Post-qualification experience in a complex environment

Responsabilités

• Lead the performance of the Capital Accounting team
• Lead the development and delivery of the financial strategy for capital projects across the Trust
• Develop and deliver the monthly and year-end capital close down
• Liaise with internal audit as required
• CapitaI and lease accounting experience in day-to-day operations
• Oversee monthly reporting cycles and month-end submissions
