Job summary

Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a senior finance post within the Financial Management & Costing team in Bracknell. The role leads financial planning, monthly management accounts, cost improvement work and divisional financial support, working closely with divisional and portfolio directors.

It is hybrid, with the team in the office at least one day a week. The successful candidate will hold a CCAB qualification (or equivalent) and have at least five years’ post-qualification

Qualifications

• CCAB qualification, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years post-CCAB experience in a large complex organisation.
• Experience in financial planning, forecasting and delivery of financial targets.
• Experience leading a team of finance/costing professionals.

Responsibilities

• Build collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders.
• Develop in-depth knowledge of operational areas and financial agreements.
• Lead financial support for divisional performance management with analytical oversight.
• Lead production of the annual financial plan including workforce and commissioning assumptions.
• Lead monthly management accounts, variance analysis and balance sheet review.
• Provide leadership to the divisional finance management and costing team.
