Job summary

Cadent is seeking a Project Supervisor to drive investment projects across its network. You will lead site activities, manage contractors and provide technical oversight to ensure safe, compliant and on-time delivery.

The role involves coordinating with operational teams and stakeholders to plan, control and report on project performance while maintaining the highest safety and quality standards. A permanent, hybrid role with travel across the network.

Qualifications

• HNC, SNVQ, NVQ or equivalent operational experience in network engineering techniques supported by relevant qualifications.
• Valid UK driving licence.
• IOSH qualification.
• SCO Authorising Engineer (AE) and Competent Person (CP) certification. (desirable)

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of investment projects across Cadent's network, ensuring activities are completed safely, on time and to budget.
• Oversee site activities, manage contractors and provide technical oversight across a varied portfolio of capital delivery projects.
• Work with operational teams, engineers and stakeholders to ensure projects are well planned and delivered to high safety and quality standards.
• Support project controls, compliance activities and contractor performance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Promote lessons learned, best practice and process improvements across project delivery activities.
