Amazon is seeking a Capacity Planning Manager based in London to own and implement strategic cross-functional initiatives. You will lead improvements to operational performance, maintain metrics, and document SOPs across the Last Mile & Middle Mile network.

In this role you will design, deploy and maintain large-scale projects, securing resources and guiding stakeholders. The work blends strategy, analytics and leadership to enhance reliability and cost efficiency for Amazon’s transportation

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Math, Engineering, Science or Business.
  • Experience in business analytics with SQL, databases and Excel.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams.
  • Experience defining program requirements and using data to drive improvements.

Responsabilités

  • Lead process improvement initiatives to boost operational performance.
  • Establish and communicate operations metrics to leadership via regular reviews.
  • Document SOPs and share best practices across departments.

This team develops and applies innovative transportation management concepts to improve and enhance the transportation network and bring the best customer experience through reliability and cost efficiencies.
We are looking for a Capacity Planning Manager to own and implement strategic, cross-functional management initiatives.

Work closely with stakeholders to build and secure support and resources for projects and initiatives in their areas.
Independently own the designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining the large scale projects.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Math, Engineering, Science or Business
  • Experience in business analytics with demonstrated proficiency in quantitative analysis using SQL, databases, and Excel in a business environment
  • Experience working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams
  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to drive improvements
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Master's degree
