Brakes, the UK’s leading foodservice supplier, is looking for a Head Kitchen Cook in Tamworth within the Supply Chain and Operations team. You’ll prepare ingredients, assist cooking, and help manage meals for up to 150 internal colleagues on shift.
You’ll also support menu planning, catering setup, rota organisation and till duties with contactless payments, while sharing kitchen cleaning duties with the team.

A satisfying role
You’ll be responsible for preparing food ingredients, assisting in the cooking process and maintaining a clean and sanitary food preparation area. On a typical shift you can expect to be cooking simple meals for up to 150 internal colleagues. This is a varied role where you will be able to assist in the planning of menus,setting up catering events as and when necessary and rota organisation. You’ll undertake cashier duties and be responsible for operating a till for contactless payments. We work as a team to all undertake cleaning and washing up in the kitchen and dining areas.
