Job summary

Brakes, the UK’s largest foodservice supplier, is looking for an HGV Class 2 Driver based in Newark. You will deliver ambient, chilled and frozen products to customers across the local region, ensuring safety and hygiene standards are met.

You’ll work a 45-hour week across two shift patterns starting between 04:00 and 06:30, with a pension, generous holiday, ongoing training, and product discounts as part of the benefits package.

Qualifications

• A qualified Class 2 Driver with valid CPC cards.
• Commitment to providing the highest standard of service to customers.
• Strong communication and people skills.
• Ability to follow processes and procedures.
• Flexibility to work in a shift system.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ambient, chilled and frozen products to customers in the local region.
• Ensure deliveries are made safely, on time and to food hygiene standards.
• Maintain accurate records, complete load plans and build positive relationships with colleagues and customers.
