Job summary

Kepak is seeking a canteen assistant to support customer service delivery in the on-site canteen. You will promote food offerings while adhering to food safety standards and work from 05:00 on weekdays to help ensure smooth daily operations.

Role involves taking orders, processing payments, maintaining hygiene, and assisting with opening/closing. This position emphasizes reliability, punctuality, and a team-focused approach to service.

Qualifications

• Experience in a food service or customer-facing role is required.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Basic knowledge of food hygiene and safety regulations is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Take customer orders efficiently and with a friendly attitude.
• Process orders through the cash register accurately.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
• Undertake food preparation duties as required.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the canteen area.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures of the canteen.
• Provide excellent customer service and address queries.
• Work as part of a team to ensure smooth canteen operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the canteen manager.
