Job summary

Kepak Group in the United Kingdom is seeking a canteen assistant to support daily food service operations and deliver an excellent customer experience in the on-site canteen. You will work Monday to Friday starting at 05:00, performing cash handling, food preparation, hygiene compliance, and maintaining a clean, welcoming space while assisting the manager.

Responsibilities

• Take customer orders efficiently and with a friendly attitude
• Process orders through the cash register accurately
• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
• Undertake food preparation duties as required
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the canteen area
• Assist with opening and closing procedures of the canteen
• Provide excellent customer service and address any customer queries or concerns
• Work as part of a team to ensure smooth operations of the canteen
• Perform other duties as assigned by the canteen manager

We are looking for a canteen assistant to join our team, to help assist in the excellent customer service delivery and experience of the Canteen. To promote the food offerings, whilst complying with relevant food safety and hygiene standards.

You will be working Monday to Friday and start at 05:00 until canteen finish.
