Job summary

Wye Valley NHS Trust is seeking an MDT Coordinator to provide essential administration for the Cancer Services team. You will support patient tracking, data entry into cancer systems, and monitor pathways to meet national cancer waiting times.

The role requires strong organisation, attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining confidentiality and supporting smooth cancer services.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Business Administration qualification or equivalent experience.
• Good general education (Equivalents in English and Maths).

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive administrative support to the MDT and Cancer Services Directorate.
• To live type in an MDT to ensure accurate record keeping of clinical discussions and clinical plans.
• Monitor and track patients through diagnostic and treatment pathways to meet Cancer Waiting Times (CWT) and standards (2WW, 28-day, 31- and 62-day).
• Develop, implement and complete site specific data collection processes, cancer waiting times and national cancer datasets.
• Take an active lead on tracking patients, data collection and breach reporting for cancer specialties.
