Job summary

A London-based Full Stack Developer is sought to design and implement Camunda 8 workflows for lending origination. You’ll build scalable backend components with Java/Spring Boot, create React UIs for task interactions, and integrate with backend services in a modern CI/CD-driven Agile setting.

The role involves DevOps practices, REST API development, SQL databases, and contributing to production support and UAT activities. Hybrid work is available with 2–3 days onsite per week.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience designing and implementing Camunda-based solutions (Camunda 8 preferred).
• Strong Java development with Spring Boot, JPA, Hibernate, and REST API development.
• Experience with SQL databases (MS SQL preferred) and microservices architectures.
• Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD tools (GitLab, Jenkins, Maven/Gradle, SonarQube, Nexus).
• Experience OpenShift and Agile delivery in financial services projects is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop lending origination workflows using Camunda 8 for business process orchestration.
• Implement service-task integrations using Java-based job workers and backend services.
• Build and maintain React-based user interfaces for workflow interactions.
• Develop scalable backend components in Java, Spring Boot, JPA, Hibernate, and SQL databases.
• Participate in SCRUM ceremonies and maintain project updates in JIRA.
• Deliver high-quality, testable code with automated tests and CI/CD practices.
• Provide 3rd line production support and assist with UAT when required.
