Job summary

RNN Group, at North Notts College in Worksop, seeks a Security and Pastoral Officer to safeguard learners, staff and visitors. You will patrol premises, monitor CCTV, control access and deter security threats while promoting a positive, supportive campus environment.

The role requires SIA licensing, a recent first aid certificate, Level 2 English/Maths, and readiness to work shift-based hours across all operational times to support safety and wellbeing on campus.

Qualifications

• Experience in security guarding dealing with the public.
• Ability to evidence use of CCTV and alarm systems.
• First aid training within the last 3 years and health & safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Monitor college buildings and grounds to maintain a secure environment.
• Respond to emergencies and incidents with professional conduct.
• Manage access points and provide a visible uniformed presence on site.
• Support staff in managing student behaviour and safety on campus.
