Job summary

RNN Group's North Notts Campus is seeking a dedicated Security and Pastoral Officer to safeguard learners, staff and visitors while promoting a safe, conducive learning environment. You will patrol campuses, monitor CCTV, manage access points and respond to emergencies with a calm, professional presence.

You will also support staff in managing student behaviour, de-escalate conflicts, and assist in supervising vulnerable learners in communal areas, ensuring the buildings remain secure all year

Qualifications

• Experience in security guarding in retail or public sector.
• Experience using large intruder and fire alarm systems and CCTV monitoring.
• First aid at work certificate (within last 3 years) and health & safety training.
• Level 2 English and Maths or willingness to undertake.
• SIA licence (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Patrol campus premises and grounds to deter security threats.
• Monitor CCTV and manage access points.
• Respond to emergencies and incidents promptly.
• Support staff in managing student behaviour and pastoral duties.
• Provide a visible uniformed presence during all operational hours.
