Job summary

Chelmsford College in Chelmsford seeks a Campus Officer to keep its campuses safe and secure for learners and staff. You will monitor public areas, patrol campuses, operate CCTV and access control, and support students in line with the College's Code of Conduct.

The ideal candidate will hold an SIA Front Line licence, be first aid trained or willing to undertake training, and have experience in a similar role. The post is term time with 45 hours/week across 37 weeks per year.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar security role with campus environment.
• SIA Front Line Licence is required.
• First aid trained or willing to undertake training.
• DBS check is required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor campuses to ensure safety and security for learners and staff.
• Provide support to learners and staff and promote positive behaviours.
• Conduct regular patrols of campuses, CCTV monitoring and access control.
