Job summary

eTeach UK Limited is seeking a Campus Safety Officer to help create a safe, welcoming environment across our Printworks Campus, and where required, Somerville House and Temple Newsam campuses. You will patrol, monitor access, respond to incidents, support safeguarding, and work with colleagues and external agencies to maintain a secure campus.

The role requires an SIA licence (or willingness to obtain one funded by us), good communication, and a proactive, team-focused approach to safeguarding

Qualifications

• Experience in security, safety or public-facing role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent).
• Hold a valid SIA licence or be willing to obtain one, with the cost funded by us.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out regular patrols of campus buildings and grounds.
• Providing a professional and welcoming first point of contact.
• Monitoring access to College premises and maintaining site security.
• Responding to incidents, emergencies and welfare concerns.
• Supporting safeguarding activity and positive student behaviour.
• Monitoring CCTV systems and completing security checks.
• Acting as a First Aider and supporting emergency responses.
• Completing reports and maintaining accurate records.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues and external agencies.
• Contributing to ongoing improvements in campus safety and customer service.
