Luminate Education Group is seeking a Campus Safety Officer to help create a safe, welcoming environment across Printworks, Somerville House and Temple Newsam campuses. You will patrol buildings and grounds, monitor access, and respond to incidents while supporting safeguarding and student welfare.

You will be a visible, professional presence, liaising with staff, students and external agencies to maintain security, complete accurate records and contribute to ongoing campus safety improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience in security, safety, customer service or public-facing role.
• GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent).
• Hold a valid SIA licence or be willing to obtain one (cost funded).
• Commitment to safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion.

Responsabilités

What skills and experience we're looking for

About the Role

Reduced Year - 39 weeks

As a Campus Safety Officer, you will play a vital role in helping us provide a safe, secure and welcoming environment for students, staff and visitors across our campus.

You will act as a visible and approachable presence, supporting the wider student experience while ensuring the Printworks Campus and where required, our Somerville House and Temple Newsam campuses remain a safe and secure place to be.

This role naturally demands a high level of teamwork and collaboration with colleagues, students, parents/carers and visitors.

*Actual Salary for 37 hours per week over 39 weeks will be £23,677 per annum

What You Will Do

• Carrying out regular patrols of campus buildings and grounds.
