Job summary

Vigilant Security in Fareham is seeking a Campus Security Officer to join Fareham College on a full-time, on-site basis. The role covers a two-shift pattern: 06:30–14:30 and 13:30–22:00, Monday to Friday, with occasional holiday cover.

• Able to cover early/late shifts during holiday periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide a prompt, polite and warm welcome to all visitors.
• Anticipate visitors' needs and ensure expectations are met.
• Be a visible customer-focused professional engaging with visitors.
• Maintain professional service at all times.
• Communicate arrivals to the relevant person promptly.
• Maintain high security awareness at all times.
• Undertake patrols and inspections as instructed.
• Proficient use of communications equipment and clear MDM logs.
• Ensure H&S policies are followed.
