Job summary

Vigilant is seeking a Campus Security Officer for a full-time mid-shift role at Eastleigh College. The position involves 08:30-14:30 hours, with potential review to 08:00-16:00 and holiday cover on a bench basis. A DS minimum SIA license is required and driving may be preferred. Expect a team of three officers and no guaranteed hours during non-term time.

Qualifications

• Current SIA licence (DS minimum)
• Valid driver’s licence is desirable
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Provide a prompt, polite welcome to all visitors.
• Maintain a visible, professional security presence on site.
• Assist with visitor management and issue passes as required.
• Conduct patrols and inspections as directed by management.
• Ensure adherence to all H&S policies and security procedures.
