The University of Surrey's Wellbeing and Welfare department is recruiting Mental Health Practitioners to support students and contribute to a positive student experience. The role is fixed-term, part-time (0.8 FTE) for up to 12 months, based on campus four days per week, 9am–5pm.

You will join a multidisciplinary team of mental health nurses, social workers, eating disorder therapists and counsellors to deliver careful assessments, brief interventions and ongoing caseload management.

Competenze

• Registered mental health nurse, social worker, or occupational therapist.
• Experience supporting individuals with complex mental health needs.
• Part-time fixed-term role up to 12 months, 0.8 FTE.
• Based on campus four days a week, 9am–5pm.

Mansioni

• Lead in supporting the service and university to offer mental health support.
• Develop a service to meet changing student needs with evidence-based improvements.
• Applications from recent graduates with current NMC/SWE/HCPC membership considered.
• Undertake mental health and risk assessments, provide brief interventions, and manage caseload with proper records.
