Job summary

Think FE Ltd is recruiting a Campus Manager for a SEND College in Doncaster. You will lead tutors and education staff, shape the campus curriculum strategy and oversee the launch and ongoing development of the new campus.

Responsibilities include recruiting and mentoring staff, ensuring quality and compliance, preparing for Ofsted, and driving improvements in learner outcomes. You will also teach up to two days per week in your specialist subject area.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 5 teaching qualification or recognised equivalent.
• Proven experience in educational leadership/management.
• Strong curriculum planning, QA and teaching standards improvement skills.
• Ability to lead and develop a learner-focused team.

The Role

• Leading, supporting and developing a team of tutors and education staff.
• Planning and implementing the campus curriculum strategy.
• Managing the opening and ongoing development of the new campus.
• Recruiting, inducting and mentoring teaching staff.
• Preparing for Ofsted inspections and maintaining high standards of education and compliance.
• Driving continuous improvement across teaching, learning and learner outcomes.
• Ensuring provision meets the needs of learners with SEND.
• Overseeing the day-to-day operation of the campus.
• Delivering teaching for up to two days per week within your specialist subject area.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

• Level 5 teaching qualification (or recognised equivalent).
• Previous management or leadership experience within an educational setting.
• A Level 3 qualification in Construction.
• Strong understanding of curriculum planning, quality assurance and improving teaching standards.
• Ability to lead and develop a team while maintaining a learner-focused approach.

Desirable:

• Previous leadership experience within further education or SEND provision.
• A recognised SEND qualification or substantial experience supporting learners with additional needs.
• Teaching experience in construction, creative arts, digital media, hair and beauty, sport, health or fitness.
• Experience of Ofsted preparation, staff recruitment and developing new educational provision.

Salary & Contract

• Salary: £44,329–£48,613 per annum
• Location: Doncaster, South Yorkshire
• Contract: Permanent
• Hours: Full-time
