Campus & Infrastructure Services Coordinator

1 FTE / 35 Hours per week

Grade 5, £26,707 - £30,378

Who we're looking for:

The role is responsible for providing appropriate business support for the campus department and when required Heads of Department and Director of Campus & Commercial.

This will include the updating of the new Computer Aided Facility Management (CAFM) system, scheduling, high level administration for campus related works/projects.

The individual will also be responsible for contract coordination across the campus which will include but not limited to:

  • Campus administration
  • Parking contract
  • Contractor inductions
  • Utilities administration
  • Support with helpdesk management and allocation of tasks

The post holder must be able to pay close attention to detail, with the ability to organise a busy workload and priorities in a systematic way. The individual will be setting and maintaining exceptional standards of customer service to ensure that all contractors, visitors and contacts are given a professional, informed and efficient service, whether they are existing students, prospective students, visitors, stakeholders or staff. This is a role requiring extensive people skills.

What you'd be doing:

As our Campus & Infrastructure Services Coordinator, you'll play a key role in helping us provide a safe, welcoming and well‑managed campus for our students, staff, visitors and wider community.

Working as part of the Campus Services team, you'll provide essential coordination and administrative support across our campus operations, infrastructure, facilities and improvement projects It's a varied role where no two days are quite the same. You could be coordinating contractors and maintenance activities one day, supporting a campus improvement project the next, or helping colleagues resolve an operational issue.

You’ll be a central point of coordination, making sure activities are well organised, information is accurate and our campus services run effectively.

  • Use of IT applications & social media - A particular strength in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Work, Teams & Forms. Promoting the work of the Welcome Desk to staff, students and the wider community.
Where you'll work:

In this role, you'll be based in the Campus & Commercial Team on our green campus in the north of Plymouth.
