Buckinghamshire College Group is seeking a reliable Housekeeping Operative (Cleaner) to join our friendly team at the Amersham Campus. This part-time, permanent role offers 20 hours per week, 52 weeks per year, with stable hours in a professional education environment.

The role suits someone who works independently, manages time effectively and contributes to a safe, hygienic environment for students, staff and visitors.

Qualifications

• General cleaning experience in a commercial environment.
• Promote and deliver outstanding customer service.
• Ability to manage own time effectively.
• Work flexibly across our sites as needed.
• Awareness of health and safety regulations relating to cleaning agents and eco-friendly products.

Responsibilities

• Dusting, damp wiping, polishing and vacuuming.
• Dry and wet mopping using colour-coded systems.
• Cleaning toilets, showers, basins, walls and glass.
• Machine scrubbing, buffing and spray cleaning.
• Refuse removal and safe disposal.
• Using cleaning equipment, materials and eco-friendly products safely.
• Following daily, weekly and periodic cleaning schedules.
• Responding promptly to requests and reporting issues or faulty equipment.
• Adhering to health & safety and manual handling procedures.
• Working flexibly across college sites when required.
