Job summary

Coleg y Cymoedd is seeking an Estates and Facilities Officer (Groundsperson) to maintain the College's grounds at Ystrad Mynach Campus on a full-time shift basis.

The role includes grass-cutting operations, safety-focused maintenance, key-holding, and participation in an out-of-hours rota. Some occasional travel to other College sites may be required, with a DBS and EWC registration for applicable posts.

Qualifications

• Experience in grounds maintenance and operation of grass-cutting machinery.
• Ability to work as part of the Estates & Facilities team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the College grounds and outdoor spaces to a safe, attractive standard.
• Operate grass-cutting machinery and related grounds maintenance equipment.
• Support Estates & Facilities team with a range of duties as required.
• Take part in an out-of-hours rota for intruder and fire alarm call-outs.
• Occasional travel to other College sites to support operations.
