Job summary
Farnborough College of Technology is seeking a proactive Caretaker & Electrical Installation Technician to join our Aldershot Construction College. This role combines site caretaking, maintenance, security and facilities support with technical support for our Electrical Installation provision.
You will help ensure college buildings, workshops and learning environments are safe, secure and well maintained, whilst providing practical support to lecturers and students during electrical installation
Qualifications
- Applicants will hold a Level 3 NVQ Electrical Installation qualification plus have industry experience.
- Experience within the electrical installation industry, alongside maintenance and repair work, is essential.
Responsibilities
- Prepare workshops and equipment for teaching sessions.
- Support practical lessons for electrical installation training.
- Maintain tools and resources across the college.
- Carry out minor maintenance works.
- Assist with site security and respond to facilities needs.
