Job summary

St Joseph’s College in Stoke-on-Trent is seeking an experienced Senior Site Supervisor to lead our Estates and Maintenance Team and maintain a safe, welcoming environment for pupils, staff and visitors.

This full-time role (37 hours/week, 52-week contract) involves coordinating planned and reactive maintenance, overseeing site security, and working with contractors to ensure high standards across main and satellite sites.

Qualifications

• Significant experience supervising staff in a school or similar environment.
• Strong practical and technical knowledge related to estates and maintenance.
• Ability to organise and prioritise a varied workload and work under pressure.
• Ability to liaise with contractors and ensure safe, high standard work.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance.
• Support health and safety and compliance requirements.
• Oversee site security and key-holding arrangements.
• Liaise with contractors to ensure work is completed safely and to a high standard.
• Support grounds maintenance, deliveries, events, internal moves and other day-to-day site requirements across main and satellite sites.
