Job summary

Academy Royale International (ARI) runs award-winning academic summer schools on campuses including the University of Oxford and University of Cambridge. Counsellors support student wellbeing, supervise nights and airport transfers, and help run social and enrichment activities.

Training is provided, with a fixed-term contract and accommodation options available. You will work 40 hours per week across a 6-day rota, including mornings, afternoons, evenings and night shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with young people.
• Aged 18 or over by the start of the first session and at least one year of higher education.
• Experience of leading a team or working under pressure.
• Excellent spoken English for explaining rules, leading activities and safety situations.

Responsibilities

• Look after students and be the first point of contact outside lessons.
• Lead and support activities across Social, Events and Enrichment programmes.
• Support excursions, study sessions and supervision between lessons; take registers.
• Complete rostered night shifts, including curfew supervision and airport transfer duties.
• Help deliver Arrival Day welcomes, campus tours and graduation events.
